Do guests need an account?
No. Guests RSVP from a link or QR code with just their name and email. They only see the event details and headcount — never your family tree.
Who can plan?
The tree's Keeper, plus any relatives the Keeper makes Planners. Free includes 1 extra Planner, Plus up to 3, and Family unlimited — with the option to limit each Planner to areas like Food or Money.
Is it free?
Yes. The Free plan covers one active gathering with up to 50 guests, RSVPs, QR invites, the shared calendar, potluck sign-up, the checklist and announcement emails. Plus and Family add more tools.
Does Heritorie handle payments?
No. Heritorie tracks costs only. You can split costs and add your own payment links (like Venmo or Cash App), but money moves directly between family members — Heritorie never touches it.
Who can see my family's information?
Only the people you choose. Gatherings can be shared with the whole family Circle, invited people only, or Planners only. Guests see the event page, not your tree, and private photos and recordings use short-lived links.
