Do I need DNA to use Heritorie?
No. Heritorie never asks for or uses DNA. Your tree is built from what your family knows, remembers and shares.
Can I include adopted, step and chosen family?
Yes. Blood, adopted, step, blended and chosen family are all first-class members of your tree — never shown as lesser.
Who can see my family's information?
Only the people you invite into your family Circle. Living relatives' details stay private to your Circle.
Is Heritorie free?
Yes, building your tree is free. Optional Plus and Family plans add more wall charts and AI help. AI help included: 10 / 100 / 400 per month. Need more? Memory Credits add extra AI help, 1 credit per use.
How does the free trial work?
Plus and Family start with a 10-day free trial. You add a card at checkout, but you aren't charged until the trial ends. Stripe emails you before the first charge, and we remind you 3 days before. Cancel anytime before day 10 and you won't be charged. During the trial you get the plan's full AI help (100 or 400 per month). If you cancel, your account goes back to Free and nothing is deleted. One trial per person.
How do I invite relatives?
From your tree, create an invite link and share it by text, email or WhatsApp. Relatives join your Circle and can add their own memories.
Can I print a family tree chart?
Yes. The Wall Chart Studio turns your tree into a print-ready keepsake, and we offer a free printable template to start on paper.
